We wanted a small, satisfying game that captures one particular feeling: watching a chart climb while you decide whether to stay in or let go. No order forms, no wallet, no real money. Just you, the candles, and the space bar.

The only trading rule: hold on, then let go
Start with $10,000 in pretend cash. Hold the space bar, or press and hold a chart, to buy. Release to sell. Every 550 milliseconds, another hourly candle unfolds: five days of market action compressed into a 66-second round. Simulated ticks build momentum, change pace, and reach the historical high, low and close.
Your entire balance goes into each trade. You can hold only one asset at a time, and releasing takes you back to cash. Watch your live profit and loss and the equity line below the charts. At the closing bell, any remaining position sells automatically.
One chart to learn. Four to keep you thinking.
Classic gives you one chart and one decision. Split puts two markets side by side. Expert gives you four charts in a grid. Use the arrow keys to select a chart before holding space, or press directly on the chart you want. You cannot switch assets while holding a position.
Need a breather? Press P or use Pause. Pausing, leaving the tab, or losing window focus closes your position at the last revealed price and stops the clock. Resume when you are ready.
The charts now take up most of the screen, with an optional fullscreen button. Turn on the mellow instrumental music if you want a soundtrack; it pauses with the game. The markets stay anonymous until the finish, when the result cards reveal each pair and its dates. A little confetti celebrates finishing—not just winning.
A little help: the next six hours
The Easy toggle shows three projected bars ahead in purple, with a widening uncertainty band. Replay estimates use only prices already revealed on the chart, with damped momentum; they never read future candles. The tooltip identifies these estimates separately from archived live forecasts. They are practice aids, not guaranteed outcomes.
Super Easy is included with Pro and can show archived forecasts up to seven days ahead. Pro also includes the forecast dashboard and historical trading data. Assisted-mode personal bests are kept separately, and shared scores disclose the mode.
Where the history comes from
Rounds come from our stored Binance hourly archive, sampled across the available history for supported assets. The archive available during development includes Bitcoin candles beginning in August 2017. Availability depends on the asset and the archive installed on the server; we do not generate imaginary prices when history is missing.
Each chart gets a random uninterrupted window, with some earlier candles visible before you start. Split charts can come from different dates; they are separate challenges, not a synchronized view of one market day. We reveal the dates and each asset’s buy-and-hold return when you finish.
A score worth sending to a friend
Your final score is the change from your starting $10,000, shown in dollars and percent. Your browser remembers a personal best for each difficulty. Share your result on X or copy your score and the game link to challenge a friend.
These are casual, self-reported scores, not a verified leaderboard. Every round is different, so a lucky market window can matter as much as timing. The question is not “am I a professional trader?” It is “can I do better next round?”
A game, with deliberately simple rules
Trades fill at the latest revealed candle close. There are no fees, slippage, leverage, liquidity constraints, or real orders. Those simplifications make the controls immediate, but they also mean this is not a realistic execution simulator, trading signal, or evidence of future performance.
